Hollis Payments

Card-not-present acceptance for businesses that mainstream processors decline or price out.

Hollis Payments is an independent sales organization. We place merchant accounts for MOTO, virtual terminal and recurring billing through sponsoring acquirers — with underwriting that reads your business, not just your industry code.

What we place

MOTO / keyed entry

Phone and mail orders where the card is not present. Keyed transactions through a terminal or gateway, with the descriptor set to your DBA.

Virtual terminal

Browser-based entry for invoice, wholesale and B2B accounts. Supports AVS and CVV checks on every transaction.

Recurring & subscriptions

Stored-credential billing with a defined retry schedule and a chargeback ratio we monitor with you monthly.

We do not process transactions ourselves. Card processing is performed by the sponsoring acquirer; Hollis Payments is compensated by that acquirer, not by you.

Rates shown are ranges observed across acquirers, not a quote. All accounts are subject to underwriting review and approval by the sponsoring acquirer. No approval is guaranteed and no rate is fixed until a merchant agreement is countersigned.

How an application runs

  1. Business review (day 1). We look at what you sell, average ticket, monthly volume, refund policy and expected chargebacks. If the numbers do not support an approval, we say so before you pay anything.
  2. Documentation (day 1–2). Formation documents, ownership ID, bank letter, processing statements if you have them, and a working website with terms, privacy, refund and delivery pages.
  3. Underwriting (day 3–5). The acquirer reviews the file and may call your business line. Decision, rate and reserve are issued in writing.
  4. Live (day 5–7). Gateway credentials, terminal or virtual terminal access, descriptor confirmation, then a live test transaction.
