What an ISO is, and why you should care which one you're talking to.
Three roles get conflated in this industry. This page is the one that states which we are, in writing, with the registration details attached.
An independent sales organization places merchant files with acquiring partners.
It does not hold funds and it does not make the credit decision — the acquiring partner does. Most of the bad experiences merchants describe in this segment come from providers who blur that line: they imply they're the processor, they imply the approval is theirs to give, and when something goes wrong there's no one accountable.
We keep the line visible. We are the channel: we configure, we reconcile, we answer. The acquiring relationship sits with a partner whose terms we don't paraphrase.
We're also small on purpose. A file gets read by a person who can be reached on WhatsApp, not routed through a queue. If that stops being true, the reason to work with us stops being true.

The paragraph that belongs on every page.
Hollis Payments LLC is not a bank and does not hold, custody or transmit funds. Card processing services are provided by the acquiring partner and its processor. Approval, pricing and reserve terms are determined solely by the acquirer. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer of credit or a guarantee of approval.
